New Color = New Style = New Energy

Sporty with elegance. Do the two go well together?

The Alpine Eagle as we know it now was unveiled in 2019 as Chopard‘s entry into the ever-popular steel sports watch market, resurrecting a 1980s heritage design from the brand’s archives. The Alpine Eagle was inspired by the sporty stylish St. Moritz.

The St. Moritz was designed for a new generation of rich jet-setting people who wished to be able to wear a watch regardless of their schedule. While the Alpine Eagle keeps the original St. Moritz design, it is a totally modern watch, from its ethically sourced materials to the quality of its COSC-certified movements.

The previous model was, I considered as a very masculine design, with its strong lines that’s very clean and sleek. The entire design gives off an aura that is full of strength, diligence, determination and pure hardwork. As if the watch wearer wants everyone to know that he is the perfectionist who not only enjoys life but earn every single cent of his wealth through the daily grind.

I could certainly imagine men consider wearing it for golfing because it almost feels and looks like an essential piece of the entire outfit. Tough, sporty and with style. I rate it as amazing.

This new piece, dashed fully in yellow. Now, I rate it as stunning. I wear jewelry made from different metals and always feel delighted when I switch from silver to gold. Both are beautiful colors, but gold always has that elegant feel to it. Almost like silver is fit for a princess but gold, ah, that’s fit for a queen. And in this case of the new Alpine Eagle, fit for a king, someone who possess almost the same values and wealth of a prince but also has real-life experiences in battles and wars. Someone who has truly seen it all.

One look at it and you know that it is marvelous. It is the perfect conversation starter, especially if you walk right into a party with people wearing the previous design. They say being sporty and elegant is impossible. Now, I know that it is possible.
